POSTNET Barcode on Mailings
To get the best mailing rate in the USA you should print a POSTNET barcode
on all outgoing mail. All donors should also have a ZIP+4 zipcode and a
Delivery Point Code. If you were shown this window after viewing some
labels/envelopes then it means that you are trying to print a POSTNET barcode but
some of the donors are missing a ZIP+4 zipcode or missing a Delivery Point Code.
To find out what the ZIP+4 zipcode and the Delivery Point Code is
for each donor, go to the US Postal Service website as follows:
1. Type this link into your Internet browser: http://zip4.usps.com
2. Type the donor's address.
3. Click Submit
4. You will be shown the ZIP+4 zipcode. Enter it into the donor's address in Donarius®.
5. Click on Mailing Industry Information.
6. You will be shown the Delivery Point Code. Enter it into the
Mail Delivery Code box in Donarius®. You will find it by clicking
on More Info ==> and looking near the bottom right.
