Sharing Data between two Macs or a Mac and PC

If you want to share the data between two Macs or a Mac and a PC (OS X and Windows) you need to set it up in a certain order.

First, install Donarius on your Mac using PlayOnMac, Crossover or Wineskin. Watch this video for PlayOnMac, this video for Crossover and this one for Wineskin.

Then go to the computer with your Donarus data and follow these steps:
1. Setup an account with a data sharing company.

2. If this computer is a PC, move the entire Donarius folder into the data sharing folder. Create a shortcut on your desktop to point to the DONARIUS.EXE file in the Donarius folder.

3. If it is a Mac with Playonmac, go to the Finder and click on the Go menu. Press and hold the Option key. A Library folder will appear in the list - click it then release the Option key. Open these folders: PlayOnMac, wineprefix, Donarius then drive_c.

If it is a Mac with Crossover, go to the Finder and click on the Go menu. Press and hold the Option key. A Library folder will appear in the list - click it then release the Option key. Open these folders: Application Support, Crossover, Bottles, Donarius then drive_c.

If it is a Mac with Wineskin, go to the Applications folder. Hold the control key down while you click on the Donarius app. From the menu choose Show Package Contents and open the folder drive_c.

    Hold the control key down while you click on the Donarius folder, then choose Copy "Donarius". Go to the data sharing folder, hold the control key down while you click on a blank part of the folder and choose Paste Item. The Donarius folder will be pasted.

4. Start Donarius, go to the File menu and choose Setup as a client. Click OK to the message. Double-click these items:
My Computer
(Z:)
Users
your username
the data sharing folder (e.g. Sync)
Donarius
     and click Open. Donarius will close.

5. Donarius is now ready to use on this computer.

Then go to the other computer so you can share the data from the first one:
1. If it is a PC then uninstall Donarius. If it is a Mac, but you don't have Donarius on it yet, then install it using PlayOnMac, Wineskin or Crossover.

2. Setup the data sharing folder with the same account as the first computer. Wait a few minutes for the Donarius files on the first computer to be automatically copied to this computer. Sometimes the icon says it is finished syncing but it really is not. Wait at least 5 minutes after it says it is finished.

3. On a PC, create a shortcut that points to the file DONARIUS.EXE in the shared folder.
     On a Mac, start Donarius, go to the File menu and choose Setup as a client. Click OK to the message. Double-click these items:
My Computer
(Z:)
Users
your username
the data sharing folder (e.g. Sync)
Donarius
     and click Open. Donarius will close.

4. Donarius is now ready to use on this computer.
