Viewing and Printing a Receipt Summary

After you have printed all of your tax receipts, you can view a summary of them.

If you want to verify the amounts for each donor before printing them, display the tax receipts and look at each one.
You can also do a Donations by Donor report and omit the following:
1. donations to non-receiptable categories
2. donations from churches and other non-profits
3. loose money
4. any donations below a minimum you have set

The total on this report will match the receipt summary.

View the summary like this:

1. Click the Tax Receipts icon and choose View Receipt Summary...

2. Enter the date range of the receipts you have printed or a range of receipt numbers.

3. Choose whether you want to show each donor's address or not.  (Otherwise, only the name will appear).

4. To show a summary of only the "gifts in kind", put a checkmark in the Gifts in Kind/With Advantage box.

5. When you have "1 per donation" receipts you will have a choice of where to show the Note and/or Category of the donation. Choose whether to show them in one of the existing columns or in a separate column.  You will also have a choice of whether to show the Issued Date or not.

6. Click OK or press Enter.

7. To print the summary click on [Print] in the menu bar.
