Replacement Receipt for Deleted Donor For a Deleted Donor (in Canada)

Sometimes a donor requests a replacement receipt a few years after they donated.  During this time the donor may have been deleted from the database.  To print a replacement receipt you should follow these steps:
1. Find the original receipt #.  One way to do this is to print a Tax Receipt Summary of the year of the donation.  Then search for a deleted donor in the list.  Instead of the name it will show:
 AAA### (Deleted Donor)
where the AAA are the first three letters of the donor's last name.
2. Click on Donors and choose Add/Edit Donors.  Then re-enter the donor spelling the name the same as before (in case they changed their name).
3. Click the Tax Receipts icon and choose View Tax Receipts...
4. In the Donor# box type R followed by the original receipt#.
5. To the right you will see one or more names.  Choose the name of the deleted donor you have added back in.
6. Put a checkmark on Replacement Receipt.
7. Type a reason.
8. Click OK.
9. In the menu bar, click [Print] to print them or click [Create PDF] to create a PDF of each to send them by email.
