Number of Donors per Donation Range

To help understand the pattern of giving, you can graph the number of donors who gave in various amount ranges.  This graph includes only amounts in receiptable categories and excludes all loose offerings.

To view this graph do this:

1. Click the Reports icon and choose # of Donors per Range...

2. Give a date range by filling in the From and To fields.

3. Click on Linear Scale to have the donation amounts on the "x-axis" to be spaced equally (Eg:100,200,300,...) or click on Log Scale to have the donations double at each point (Eg:20,40,80,160,...)

4. Donors who do not live in your organization's country are called foreign donors. They can make donations in their own currency or in your country's currency. When a foreign donor makes a donation in their own currency it is called a foreign donation.  If anyone has made a foreign donation then you can view a graph for those donors by clicking on Foreign Donations.

5. Click OK or press Enter.  A bar graph will then be shown with the average and median donation.  The average is the total of all donations divided by the number of donors.  The median is the amount where half of the donors gave less than the median and half gave more.
