Import Data From Your Current Software
 
Whatever software you are currently using, you will be able to import your data into Donarius®. For example, you may have Membership Plus or Viansoft's Vian Church Contribution System. Even if you have your data in an Excel spreadsheet that can be imported too. This will save you many hours of typing.

Converting your data is a simple process:
  1. Start your current software.
  2. Select the menu/item to export data. In Membership Plus, go to the File menu and choose Export.
  3. If necessary choose which fields to export. You should export donor names/addresses to one file and contributions to a second file.
  4. Save the file. (If you have your data in an Excel spreadsheet, just save it as a comma separated value file. i.e. a CSV file.)
  5. Start Donarius.
  6. Click Import on the main window.
  7. Select the file you created in step 4.
  8. Indicate you are importing donors.
  9. Select which fields each column represents
  10. Click the Import button.
  11. Repeat steps 6-10 indicating you are importing donations.
